Whew!
Where does one begin? All I can say is it just goes by too darn fast and the older I get...UHG, the faster it goes.
So here we are in 2011 already and I barely remember what has happened between my last posting and now. Isn't that just the saddest thing? :-)
Oh well, I guess it's time to start anew and see what this new year has in store for this old gal.
Well, the kids are doing great. That would be my Mikey and Molly and if you look through some of the older posts you will see their sweet little face in the pictures I've posted. They just got groomed by our lady that comes to the house to pamper them and I had made her a quilted wall hanging with fabric from all their little bandannas that she puts on them after their baths but darn the luck I didn't even think to take a picture of it to show everyone how it turned out. Anyway, she loved it and she actually teared up and that just made me even more thankful that we have our Pego who loves my little dogs and is so gentle and good with them.
Oh, I did do something new and was quite fun, I made a lens at Squido if you would like to take a peek and check it out. It is about one of my favorite collectibles, Wee Forest Folk. I've added some cute little fun facts about mice, and even a couple of polls if you would like to add your vote! If you love to blog about your favorite things, your passions in life, or anything under the sun, you probably will love making a few lenses of your own!
I've also added some new jewelry to my ETSY shop. I've had a great creative streak going for a while now. It's a wonder how I can go for months without the least little spark of imagination or creativity and then bingo, I have a million ideas come flooding my brain up with so many ideas that I have at least two or three or five things going at once! Of course that's a total Gemini thing. In fact right now I have a quilt underway, 2 necklaces and a cross stitch I'm working on! Yikes! :-)
I'm LOVIN' my Nook. Right now I'm reading a library book on it, The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. I just got a free Nookbook from Barnes & Noble too! I always loved the feel of a book in my hands, the paper on my fingers as I turned the pages, but you know what, the Nook is so easy to hold it does make reading a bit more enjoyable for me. And they have a new Nookcolor out...pretty fancy!
Well dear readers I need to step away from the computer for a bit. And hopefully this time I won't be gone for 6 months! :-) See ya soon and happy new year!
